Nowadays, there is an increasing demand to purchase stylish wider fitting shoes and orthopaedic shoes.
This is not surprising that after so many years of foot-abuse as a consequence of stiff-soled footwear, improperly cushioned work-related shoes or high heels for the sake of fashion which have resulted in over pronation, bunions and unpleasant arthritic problems.

They look for comfort and they are worried for their health. That’s the reason why customers demand more and more wide fit shoes.
People with health issues that trigger foot soreness, and aging feet naturally have a tendency to grow larger. Finding proper footwear to fit the feet, not feet to match the shoes must be the goal for any individual enduring foot/shoe fit issues.

Unique and specialist shoe-tailors do not follow the mass manufacturing direction of creating styles that fit the typical regular foot – risking that they actually don’t fit anyone appropriately at all! That’s their challenge: to create footwear to really fit feet!!!!

When the arch of a foot collapses, it causes flattening of the foot and that is known as over-pronation. It is very painful when going for walks and also cause the eventual development of bunions.
